The Health and Nutrition Coach Your Midlife Body Has Been Looking For

I help women in perimenopause and menopause get out of their own way and make changes that actually stick. No deprivation, no starting over on Monday, no guilt or second-guessing.

This Is Not About Another Diet or Starting Over on Monday

This time is different because you won't be doing it alone. With the right support and a realistic approach that fits your life, this is the last time you'll need to start over.

You’re here because your body feels different, nothing seems to be working anymore, and what used to work no longer does.

You're not imagining it and it's not your fault. Midlife changes the rules and most advice out there hasn't caught up. I have.
Let's figure out what actually works for you now.

How we work together

Simple steps, real support, lasting change.

Work out what's actually going on

No more guessing. We look at what's really driving your symptoms, your habits and your relationship with food so we know exactly where to start.

I show you what to do and how

Simple, practical changes that fit your real life. No overhaul, no overwhelm, just the right moves for you right now.

You make the changes, I've got your back.

With accountability and support in your corner, this is where the real change happens.

What you can expect

Most women come to me wanting weight loss. I get it, that was me too.

What really changes goes way beyond the number on the scale.

More stable energy throughout the day

Reduced cravings and less preoccupation with food

Improved sleep and clearer thinking

Finally putting yourself first without the guilt

Getting out of your own way and actually following through

Kathryn Mayne,
Certified Menopause Coach and Accredited Nutrition and Health Coach

I'm Kathryn. I know what it feels like when your body stops responding the way it used to, when you're doing everything right and still getting nowhere, and when food feels like the enemy rather than something you actually enjoy.

I went through perimenopause over seven years ago. I lost over 10kg, not by doing more or eating less, but by finally understanding what my midlife body actually needed. Maintaining it doesn't feel like effort anymore because it's just how I live now. That's what happens when you find your why and build a life around your values.

And yes this includes travel, dinners out and socialising. Because what is life without those things.

But here's what surprised me most, the biggest shifts had nothing to do with food

I learned I could do hard things. I discovered the food industry had been working against me for years and it was never about willpower. I found out who I was without the cravings, the rebound hunger and the constant starting over. I got to know my triggers, my values and how to get back on track fast when life happens, because it always does.

That's the work I now do with my clients. Not just what to eat, but how to get out of your own way, build consistency and create a way of living you can actually maintain.

Alongside my private coaching I also work in a clinical setting, collaborating with doctors, dietitians and exercise physiologists.

I've made the mistakes so you don't have to. And I'll be in your corner every step of the way.

Who this is for

This is for women in perimenopause and menopause who are done with the cycle of starting over and are ready to do something that actually sticks.

  • Doing all the right things but still not seeing results
  • Exhausted from overthinking every food decision
  • Ready to feel in control of your body and your habits again
  • Open to looking beyond the plate at what's really getting in the way
  • Done with quick fixes and ready for a realistic long term approach
  • Open to guidance, support and making practical changes that fit their life

How Coaching Works

The focus is on closing the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

We start from where you are right now. Every session is a real conversation about your everyday life, what's working, what isn't and what's getting in the way.

You'll leave each session knowing exactly what to focus on next, with support and accountability between sessions so you're never figuring it out alone.

In an environment where I am inundated with so much information about nutrition, menopause, exercise, diet and supplements I turned to Kathryn to help me distill all the noise. Kathryn really listened and helped me prioritise my goals. She has a wealth of ‘lived’ knowledge and is an example of where I want to be - strong, healthy, informed and authentic. I loved getting the short cuts to add in simple nuanced changes to my routines and am loving the results. She is a coach in so many ways - informing me and cheering me on and focused on what really matters at this stage of my life. Her understanding of nutrition, menopause and what is realistic for a happy life balance is what has separated her from the rest and enabled me to live well. Highly recommend.

Kathryn was just the support I needed for my health journey. She was able to understand what I had tried and where I wanted to get to quickly, and was amazingly skilled at providing me with the encouragement and information. Kathryn really tailored the sessions to me and has given me the skills that I take with me and the knowledge that the journey and learning continues.

It feels very motivating. The release from the cravings is profound. This morning I woke up with no joint pain and in a great mood. I slept undisturbed. I’ve completed all my morning rituals around light, movement, hydration, breath work and gratitude, and I’m so very grateful to be in this body today. I’m feeling metabolically healthier and more in control than I have in a long time. Thank you for all the assistance and direction you’ve given me. I’m now down 8.3kgs. Thank you again. You are an awesome health and life coach.
